Beralic, King of Rome was born in eastern Germania on a bright sunny day during the summer months. The following four weeks were all of thunder and rain, and his parents threw him into the cold afterwards thinking he was a curse upon their village.
Later, Beralic was picked up by a Roman scouting party and fathered by it's leader. Raised in Rome, Beralic learned how to fight and strategize as well as any Roman in the Academy at Brundisium. When Beralic left Rome with the Legio IV in 170 BC he travelled to his Germania, where he was ordered to conquer his home village and several others surrounding it.
Beralic met with many Germanic chieftains and eventually was persuaded to join their cause after they should him a village where all the women and children had been raped or burned. Later Beralic was appointed a chieftain in his own rite and set about uniting Geramanic tribes.
After recognizing Rome's imperialistic standpoint and aggressions, many tribes either forcefully or willingly join Beralic. In 162 BC, Rome was caught surprised by an invading horde of Beralic's followers, but was able to beat him back.
A year later, Beralic, humbled by the defeat, came back with 20,000 screaming Germanic warriors and sacked and burned almost the entire city.
Since those days Beralic has been known to be ruthlessly cruel, and holding a personal grudge against the Romans.
He has an elite guardforce of 1,000 of the most trained warriors in Germania, who are famed for killing half of a Roman legion themselves.
Beralic travels generally with an addition five thousand soldiers wherever he goes because he knows how hated he is, and enjoys every moment of it.
Currently Beralic is in Hispania discussing an alliance with two Hispanian tribes which would give Beralic most likely another several thousand warriors in his host.
On the Italian peninsula there is a northern army stationed at the top, with roughly 15,000 Visigoth warriors. Most Roman towns or cities have garrisons of 500-1,000 Visigoths in addition to Roman garrisons. Larger cities like Rome have 2,000-3,000 man guardforces.
