An important looking Roman dignitary surrounded by guards enters the forum, hand covering a small scroll. He waits until enough attention has been drawn by his armed comrades. He clears his throat and begins, "By order of the Roman Senate under King Beralic I" and at this point he coughed, "all Roman families must, by the end of the year 150 BC, have proclaimed in the Marketplace, whom their family accountant will be. At this point the family will be allowed to spend their 500,000 sesterces on whatever properties they wish to buy. All further information concerning the market and the properties available for purchase will be listed in the Marketplace." After pausing he said, "That is all", and turned away.
