Scipio Darius, one of the Tribunes of the People, stands up on the podium and begins to speak to a large assembled crowd.
"People of Rome, I welcome you to a free Rome, a proud Rome, a Roman Rome. For the first time in many a year, Rome and the rest of Italia is under Roman control, thanks to the help of a brave few people, who risked their lives for Rome.
"Firstly, my condolences must go to the family of Lucius Orellius, the man who lost his life in the fight to drive out the Visigoths. He did so incredibly swell, and made sure King Beralic was killed, along with the majority of the Visigoth horde. I also wish to thank the thousands of corageous Romans who died in this battle. They did not die in vain, as we can see here.
"Scipio Marcus must be thanked for his major role in rallying the legions to the Roman cause. Without him, the rebellion would have been crushed before it began. He, luckily, saved us all soon after the riot in Rome.
"Cladius Oppius helped majorly, taking the Visigoth stronghold at Marsi. He played a role in these recent events, and was also a vital part of the revolution.
"Scipio Publius, however, must be thanked especially. He is the man who began this. He was the first man to stand up to the Visigoths, and began the riot in the marketplace. He won the first victory, even if it was against a small group of Visigoths."
Darius let this sink into the crowd, then stood up as tall as he could.
"People of Rome, I welcome you to a New Rome! The proper Rome! A ROMAN ROME!"
The crowd erupts into cheers at this point, and with a wave of Darius' hand, the banners of old Rome fall either side of him, aswell as the banners of the 4 Roman houses.
