Cladius Marcus had found time from commanding his century to meet with his family. With the coming of the uprising he decided to put the house in order.
"Concordia cum veritate"
"I have called you all here so that we can begin reordering our house's interests. All family members are considered a part of this council that must approve with a 2/3 majority most of the decisions of the Pater Familias. Our Pater Familias will be elected by the Auctoritas Familias with a 2/3 majority and hold that position for life or until the Auctoritas Familias feels the need to replace him."
For now we need to elect the Pater Familias so please speak up if you desire the position. I would like to serve as the Pater Familias so I will throw my name in.

I would back you Marcus, however I believe that as the Family Accountant I also am serving as Pater Familias. Perhaps we can both serve as Frater Domini, or FD's? Master Brothers if you will?

That matter is up to the family as a whole to decide. If it is agreed that we can serve as Frater Domini then I propose the following powers. You shall manage the finances of our family while I represent the family in society.

That is fair and acceptable to me as well.
Also, do you feel as though we should make a family motto?

Concordia cum veritate I believe is a motto that our family can stand by.
OOC: "in harmony with truth"
