"Salve Gracchi,
As we all know war is soon upon us. With the current "underground" movement this rebellion will fail. The people are only looking for leadership instead of working together. The Claudii want to have a shadow senate.. or one leader. This will only worsen the situations.
Therefor I want to ask our "insert name" Pater to have contact with the other families on what they are going to do.
That said I suggest we, the Gracchi, start planning the rebellion for ourselves. We can have one leader, as we don't have to be afraid he will pull the power towards him once its over.
We should work together and take over the south now we have the chance!"

Walking in from the stormy night right before Antonius began the disscussion. Antonius begins talking.
Listening with Intrigue Maximus replies.
"Well if the Pater doesn't want to lead the rebellion, I propose myself. My life has been a treacherous one as you can see.I would have no qualms even if I was captured. There is nothing more honorable than one of our family members leading this revolution. Maybe, it is time that I take the lead and show that with the Gracchi families leadship anything is possible."

Mercurius steps into the atrium as the night falls and sees his family members gathered there. Recently bathed from his days out in the field, the young Decurion takes his traditional seat by the Impluvium and nods.
"I agree, we Gracchi should be prepared for whatever the world can throw at us. I am sure my brother Tiberius will agree to lead the Gracchan efforts at overthrowing these Gothic fools, and I am pleased that our family's cohesiveness has already come so far so fast."

*The beautiful female servant walks in with a scroll*
The servant woman speaks " Maximus is currently on the way here from the East after his victory with Cornelius Tiberus against the bandits. His army will converge with the current plebians in the market which have barricaded themselves up. He gives his wishes that the rest of the family will help these citizens as a massacre against them is inevitable. It seems he says that there is currently a Centurion leader there helping the plebians in their defence."
The servant stops then says "May the gods be with us my brethren, I shall see you soon. Gracchus Maximus proud descendent of the Gracchi family."

Antonius thought about what the servant just said.
"I guess this is where we make our first mistake, Rome is not of our importance as we need the other areas too. I shall go at once to the south and take control. I suggest we all increase our numbers and be prepared to fight against fellow Romans."
Antonius writes "Scipio Marcus" down and leaves the villa.

There is wisdom in not moving before we take proper time to think. I agree with Antonius that the assets to the south are indeed highly valuable and I wish him success as he goes to gather men and supplies. I will do my part not only for Rome but for our family as well.
