It looks like our proposal for restoring the Senate by having one senator from each family, plus the Pontifex Maximus will go through. We therefore need to decide on a Senator to represent us along with one candidatus.
Gaius congratulations it look like you'll be a senator. Who knew running unopposed for Pontifex would prove so advantageous.
For the Senate I propose that as Pater Familias I represent the family. For Candidatus I recommend Scipio Marcus whose help in getting the proposal for a senate through was very valueable indeed.
If there are any other suggestions or nominations please speak, and we shall consider them as well.

Well, it sounds good to me. And the PF joined as senator is good indeed. And exactly who would've guessed.

I agree that you should be our representative. AND, I'd very much like to be candidatus

Thank you Marcus. My first legislative effort will be a military reform and the re-capture of the provinces. I'll fill you in as i get things in order.

OOC: A sort of "intern". They have access to the senate and may voice their opinions but not vote. Each family has the right to one candidatus (at least in previous incarnations, probably going to be the same here)

Because they get to post in the Senate and contribute to efforts to legislate, they are often on the fast track for senate confirmation, because the Senate gets a chance to see whether they are competent active members of the city, or not.
