Please cast your nomination for the highest religious official position in Rome, Pontifex Maximus. The duty of the Pontifex Maximus is to be the head priest of the gods, and act as a representative of Rome to the gods. The individual will set the laws of the Temple and appoint Pontifex Minors (head priests of a specific god) as well as Flamen (priests).
The Pontifex Maximus must resign from their position in the army and will be given a spot in the Senate as a Senator in addition.
Also, the Pontifex Maximus position is one held for life, so one cannot resign from this position.
There will be 48 Hours for nominations and the elections will follow.

OOC: Pontifex Maximus is a position held for life...so...I'm not really sure how to answer that, haha, sure he can put it on hold until the afterworld?

After thinking about this for a long time, and praying to the Gods, i do not believe that i deserve this position, may the Gods lead Scipio Gaius on his way to Pontifex Maximus

Titus, I for one, am sure you deserve it just as much as I, if not then more. But I respect your withdrawal, and hope that you will prosper at the field you think you fit in better.
